Dear Pastor,

I recently met a man who told me everything that I did from I was a child. I find myself not getting through in life. Everything I try, I fail. I was standing at the bus stop waiting for the bus and this man came up to me and was able to tell me my name and where I live. He told me that some of my friends are after me and I should not trust them. I am always having headaches, and he told me what was causing the headaches. The things he told me, he could not have known unless somebody told him or he has a special gift. He also told me where I could meet him if I needed his help.

I told my mother about him and my mother decided that she wanted to meet him. When we went, we saw people in his yard and one man told us we couldn't see him that day and we would have to come back. We went back two days after and he gave my mother a 'read-up'. Pastor, my mother came home, and a week later, she packed her bag and told me that she was going to see the man. I asked her why she has to pack her bag if she was going to see him. She said she was going to stay for a while. This man and my

mother are now living together. She said he offered her a job, but it is no job because I went there to see her and they are sleeping together. I told my mother that she should come home, but she won't listen to me. She is making six thousand dollars a week, she says.

People are calling him an obeah man.

Try not to stay at that man's house. You may find that he would want to have sex with you, too. Your mother is sleeping with him. He has bewitched her. He has gotten her to the place where she does not even want to return home. He is a false prophet. When you met him, he told you lots of things about yourself. He knew how to ask the questions so that he would get certain answers from you and you thought that you had met a great man. Your mother can be described as a 'licky-licky' woman. Nothing you say now will cause her to leave this man. She believes that the man is a big 'scientist'. Let us hope that one day she will come to her senses and return home. In the meantime, you keep away from that man's place.
