Police in Central Village, St Catherine, are working to identify a man whose body was found floating in a river in Caymanas Bay on Sunday evening.

The discovery was made around 6:40 p.m. by passersby, who alerted the authorities. The body was later removed to a funeral home, where a post-mortem examination will be conducted.

Investigators are treating the case as a suspected drowning.
