Six-time Olympic champion Usain Bolt has confirmed he is still focused on being the first athlete to dip under 19 seconds in the 200 metres, ahead of this year's Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The 29-year-old has world records in the 100m (9.58), 200m (19.19) and as a member of the Jamaican 4x100m (36.84) at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

When asked if he would be in the physical and mental shape to better his 19.19 seconds in the 200m at the Rio Olympics, Bolt reasoned that remaining unbeaten is his priority.

"I think that's on a side note. The aim is to win the championship, but it (sub-19) is one of my goals I've had over the years ... so it would be great if I could accomplish that this season also," he underlined.

"It would be great if it was during the Olympics," Bolt added.

Bolt was speaking to the media after winning his sixth RJR Sports Foundation National Sportsman of the Year award last Friday night.
