DAJL Domino League heating up
The inaugural 2025 Domino Administrators Jamaica Limited (DAJL) Domino Premier League & Knockout continued with high drama in week two action last Sunday, with Land Raiders and Bull Bay winning their second consecutive matches to jump to the top of the table.
Playing at home, Bull Bay United stayed perfect with a thrilling sudden-death 250-245 win over Mechanical Strikers, after both teams were deadlocked at the end of time allotted for regulation play in the league contested by teams from Kingston and St Andrew, and St Catherine.
Land Raiders, however, ensured that they never had to suffer such nerve-racking moments, as they stopped Cherry Gardens 250-238.
The day's other match involved Links United making a successful season debut, narrowly defeating Central United 250-245.
By virtue of their consistency, Land Raiders and Bull Bay head the standings after week two with eight points apiece, with four points awarded for each win.
Land Raiders had registered a massive win in the opening round, when they thumped Bammaz United 250-212.
Bull Bay United too were equally impressive in their opening fixture, slamming Central United 250-208.
Also successful in the opening round were Mechanical Strikers, who carved out a 250-240 victory against Cherry Gardens.
