SPRINTERS Ashanti Moore and Bryan Levell hit top form at yesterday's Raiffeisen Austrian Open in Eisenstadt, Leichtathletikarena, Austria -- a World Continental Tour Silver meet -- as both raced to personal best and meet record times in their respective events.

Moore, the national champion in the women's 200 metres, has now booked her individual ticket in the event for the Tokyo World Athletics Championships with a fine display. Coming off a disappointing run in the event at the London Diamond League, Moore was at her supreme best yesterday, winning the half-lap event in 22.40 seconds (+1.2 mps wind), easily surpassing the automatic qualification mark of 22.57 for the September 13-21 World Championships.

She credited God for her victory with an Instagram story post, posing with her race bib and a crown she got for her victory.

Levell, the national 200m champion, destroyed his rivals in the men's 100 metres, stopping the clock at 9.82 seconds (+1.3mps wind). Abduraqhman Karriem of South Africa was second in 10.07s, with Yeshihide Kiryu of Japan third in 10.08.

Levell, who earlier ran 10.11 in the preliminary round, produced the second fastest time in the world so far this season, behind world leader Kishane Thompson's 9.75. Jamaica now has the three fastest men in the event on the world Top List, with Oblique Seville at number three with 9.83.

There were also personal best times for Kadrian Goldson and Delano Kennedy, who finished one-two in the men's 200m. Goldson won in 20.32 ahead of Kennedy who was second in 20.70. The athletes were assisted by a positive wind of 1.6 mps.

Meanwhile at the same meet there was a third-place finish for Adelle Tracy in the women's 800m after she clocked 2:01.29.

At the Motonet Grand Prix meet in Tampere, Finland -- a World Continental Tour Bronze meet -- Jamaicas's Lafranz Campbell captured the men's 110m hurdles in 13.50. Sanderi Kuus of Finland was second in 13.60, with his countryman Elmo Lokka taking third in 13.65. World Championships-bound intermediate hurdler Assinie Wilson had a second-place finish at the meet after clocking 50.26 in the men's 400m hurdles, where Kemorena Tisang of Botswana won in 49.08.

Christopher Taylor failed in his bid to book an individual spot in the men's 200m for Tokyo after finishing third in the half-lap event in 20.33. In the women's 200m Briana Williams also placed third in 23.33.
