Five-time World Championships winner Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, after a long delay, will finally make her seasonal debut in the 100 metres as she is down to contest the women's event today in Luzern, Switzerland, where 23 Jamaicans are down to compete at the World Athletics Tour Silver meet.

Fraser-Pryce made her first competitive appearance on the track this season in the women's 200 metres at the Jamaica National Senior Championships (Trials) two weeks ago, finishing second to Shericka Jackson in 22.26 seconds.

All eyes will be on the 'Pocket Rocket' today, who ran a blistering first 110 metres in that race, coming off the curve before Jackson, and the expectations are high that she could open up with an exceptional performance today, as fans locally and overseas, anxiously await what she will do.

She will contest the final heat of three and go against country women Natasha Morrison, who was third at the Trials, and Briana Williams, who was fourth. Also in the race will be Morolake Akinosun, Melissa Jefferson and Kennedy Blackmon of the United States of America (USA) and Zoe Hobbs of New Zealand.

Jonielle Smith and Serena Cole will also contest an earlier heat, with Smith also competing in the women's 200 metres.

Andrenette Knight, following her recent season and personal best of 53.26 seconds to win the women's 400 metres hurdles in Hungary three days ago, will be in action again. Knight, who is now ranked third on the World Athletics top list in the event, will renew rivalry with national champion Janieve Russell, whom she defeated in Hungary and will have two of her main rivals in Budapest, in the USA's duo of Dalilah Muhammad and Anna Cockrell.

Meanwhile, Danielle Williams and Amoi Brown, after their close finish in the women's 100 metres hurdles at Trials, where they were third and fourth, respectively, will battle with USA's Tonea Marshall in the line-up.

Upset winner of the men's 100 metres at the National Championships Rohan Watson will seek to bounce back from a third-place finish two days ago in Hungary behind Yohan Blake and Ackeem Blake. He will lead four Jamaicans in the event - Michael Campbell, Julian Forte and Nigel Ellis. Forte will also contest the men's 200 metres.

Tyler Mason will be hoping for a better result in the men's 110 metres hurdles after a close finish in Hungary, and today, he will be accompanied by countrymen Ronald Levy, Orlando Bennett and Damion Thomas.

Three Jamaican men, led by Tajay Gayle, will contest field events. Gayle will compete in the men's long jump, Christoff Bryan in the high jump, and Rajindra Campbell in the shot put.
