Reggae singer Sophia Brown is having the time of her life as she undertakes a month-long tour of Europe.

"This is my first European tour since 2013, and I am very excited about it. It's been a long time since I've had a chance to perform for my European fans, and it feels so good to reconnect with them. Being in Europe when so many festivals are taking place in the summer is a great opportunity for me to reintroduce myself to this market," said Brown.

The tour kicked off with a show in Hanover, Germany, on July 19. Since then, she has performed at several other events in the cities of Hamburg and Frankfurt. Brown is also booked to perform at the Reggae Jam festival, which will take place in Bersenbruck, also in Germany, from August 1 to 3.

"The tour got off to a good start. So far, I've been doing club events and fans are showing me a lot of love. I am looking forward to performing at bigger events like Summer Jam. After Reggae Jam, I'll be heading to Austria and Malta for a series of shows before I return to Jamaica," she said.

Brown said that as soon as she returns to the island, she is heading straight into the studio to work on her fifth full-length album.

"After my mom passed away, I paused recording for a while, but now I'm ready to return to my music. This album has been on the back burner for a while, and it's time to complete it. I'm not sure yet, but I might release it early next year. I also plan to release another book very soon," she said.
