Whispa Di Minista joins Unruly camp

Fast-rising dancehall artiste Whispa Di Minista is riding a wave of momentum after landing endorsement from genre heavyweight Popcaan, who recently welcomed him into the Unruly camp.

The breakthrough came on the heels of Whispa's viral appearance in Druski's reality series, where he caught the attention of the hip hop star and earned praise during auditions for the Coulda Been Records label.

Seizing the spotlight, Whispa has since dropped a flurry of new singles that are gaining traction both on local airwaves and international platforms.

"Right now, a Unruly me ting deh and me proud a dat yuh zimmie. Me just a put in the work and thus far the fans a work wid di ting suh me give thanks. Big up Popcaan anywhere on the planet he is," said Whispa Di Minista.

Hailing from Stony Hill, St Andrew, the fast-rising deejay is optimistic about what lies ahead. With collaborations already under his belt alongside Popcaan and Jahvillani, Whispa says he's determined to make the most of the buzz and unlock his full potential.

"I have always been told that I am talented, however getting the much needed exposure hasn't always been easy suh me a tek full advantage of this opportunity me get from Popcaan and it is one I truly appreciate. Right now, a just more music, yuh zimmie," he added.

Now a fixture in top-tier studio sessions, Whispa is hard at work recording for some of dancehall's most respected producers. He is also pushing his latest tracks, Hot Oil, Holiday, and Summer Wave, as he continues to build his presence in the industry.
