Reggae powerhouse Sizzla Kalonji takes centre stage for a monumental 30-year tribute at Sabina Park on October 19 .

Marking three powerful decades of music, fire, and revolution, the event is shaping up to be a once-in-a-generation cultural homecoming that promises goosebumps, gratitude, and greatness.

Following the buzz of the 'Kalonji Konversations' in Miami in April, this long-awaited Kingston staging is more than a show - it's a spiritual return.

"We're beyond excited to present 'Dadda' in this way, right here in his hometown," said Tamiann Johnson, event curator.

And with the release date intentionally aligned with the 'Earthstrong' of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I, the celebration takes on deeper meaning and reverence.

Organisers say the night of October 19, Sabina Park will transform into a sacred ground of unity, rhythm, and resistance - a gathering of fans, bredrins, sistrins, artistes, and global supporters all here to honour three decades of lyrical genius, spiritual leadership, and cultural fire from the legendary Kalonji.

"From the moment patrons step through the gates, they'll be immersed in something unforgettable," said Johnson.

She said the event will be a "once-in-a-generation celebration, blending electrifying live performances including an artisan village, a vibrant food court for an all-in-one, festival-style experience. Rise to the Occasion is where reggae energy, passion, and legacy explode on stage".
