There were no lofty predictions of where they might finish this Red Stripe Premier League season, but Andrew Price's Boys' Town Football Club will be using their home game against Harbour View tomorrow as a yardstick of their progress.

The league's most nostalgic team, with their title triumphs dating back to 1984, 1986 and 1988, Price remains buoyed the current crop of players will take it one game at a time to at least a semi-final finishing.

"And see where it leads us, what we want to do is remain consistent and accumulate points and see where it leads us at the end of the third round. If it leaves with a chance to go into the semi-finals that would be good, but we are not going to give any lofty predictions at this point in time we are just starting the second round," Price said.

They have earned 15 points through four wins, three draws, and four losses, and are fifth, while four-time league champions Harbour View are in seventh place.

gelling well

"I think we have a very good talent pool. I think we are gelling well, at the beginning we didn't have all the players available, but having them now I expect them to get better as the season progress," he continued.

Over the years the rivalry between Harbour View and Boys' Town has been fierce and good entertainment, with tomorrow's match-up not expected to be different.

"Just the rivalry between these two clubs will get the players up for the game, and I think both teams will come hungry to play good football. It's a match worth going miles to see," Price told STAR Sports at Thursday's RSPL match day teams' press conference, at Digicel SportsMax.
