Package with illegal guns and ammunition seized at logistic centre

The Hunts Bay Criminal Investigation Branch is probing an incident in which three illegal guns along with an assorted ammunition were discovered in a package at theÌýKingston Logistic Centre located atÌýNewport West.
Reports are that around 11: 45 a.m. yesterdayÌýduring a search on the premises, located on Shannon Dirve, aÌý.357 Smith and Wesson pistol, aÌýSpringfield pistol and aÌýRugerÌýpistol were recovered.
The contraband were discoveredÌýwhen personnel at the centre scanned theÌýpackage.
