Residents of a section of Dunbeholden, St Catherine, were in for a horrific discovery yesterday, as the partially mutilated bodies of two males were found along a dirt track near the community's pump house.

One resident said that the sight of the dead men will forever be etched in her memory.

"Mi pass go right there suh about minutes to 8 last night and everything was normal. I personally did not hear any shot or scuffle, so it clear say dem kill dem and dump them, but it wasn't a pretty sight. You can see say dem did a try cut off dem head, and one a di dead man face just look make up like him feel everything. It wasn't a pretty sight, and everyone could pass and see dem because is not like dem dump dem in the bush good. Mi nah go forget dis," the woman said.

According to police reports, about 7:30 a.m., residents stumbled upon the bodies and alerted the police. Upon the lawmen's arrival, both bodies were found face down with partially severed necks and what appeared to be gunshot wounds. The men were discovered shirtless with their hands and feet bound. The scene was processed and the bodies removed to the morgue for post-mortem.

As he tended to his farm, a farmer told the news team that he was shocked by the discovery, which was just footsteps away from him.

"I was up early working in my farm and I had no idea that there were two bodies just laying beside the guango tree. It was when I see the whole heap a police I knew. This is a shock to me," he said.
