Fantan Mojah offers condolences to Jah Mason
Reggae artiste Fantan Mojah has extended heartfelt condolences to fellow singer Jah Mason, who is mourning the tragic loss of his son, Jabari 'Baba Skeng' Johnson.
The youngster was fatally shot during a TikTok livestream in Red Hills, St Andrew, on Monday.
Fantan Mojah, who once had a strained relationship with Jah Mason, said the incident has left him heartbroken.
"Condolences to Jah Mason on the death of his son," the artiste said.
"Mi nuh talk to the artiste yet because him a grief so him nah talk to anyone yet and a hold a vibes and mi understand."
Stressing his commitment to peace and unity, Fantan Mojah said he was alarmed to see social media posts suggesting the young man's death was somehow connected to his past disagreements with Jah Mason.
"Jah Mason a mi bredda, and we did have little one time argument, but it done. Bless up Capleton because him done fix it, so Jah Mason a mi bredda," Fantan Mojah told THE WEEKEND STAR.
He added that he is also using the opportunity to urge bloggers and social media users to stop spreading false information about him.
"A nuh every artiste a devil eno man. You have some real people inna music who deal with real things and a help a lot of people. ... Mi and everybody inna the world good man, and mi nah think fi hurt nobody, nuh matter if them black, purple or blue."
