68-y-o woman succumbs to injuries following St Ann collision
A 68-year-old woman who was involved in a vehicular crash in St Ann on Tuesday has succumbed to her injuries.
The police have launched a murder investigation for Shirley Phillips of Anchovy Port Antonio, Portland.
Reports are that about 7:15 p.m., Phillips was a passenger in a Honda BR-V motorcar.
Upon reaching a section of the Priory main road in the car collided with a F200 Shacman Truck.
Shirley was assisted to the St Ann's Bay Regional Hospital, where she was admitted and later succumbed while undergoing treatment.
The 23-year-old driver of the truck has been warned for prosecution.
The St Ann Traffic Department is conducting an investigation into the matter.
