The Manchester police have launched an investigation into the murder of a 35-year-old man in the parish last night.

Dead is Ricardo Henry, otherwise called 'Matic', a construction worker of Love Lane in Manchester and 48 White Water Boulevard, SpanishTown in St Catherine.

Reports are that about 10:59, Henry was in the Mike Town district when explosions were heard.

Checks made and Henry was found with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

He was assisted to the Mandeville Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Mandeville Criminal Investigation Branch is also probing the matter.
