How long have you been saved? I have been saved for more than 22 years.
How did you get your conviction? My conviction came in my bed when I had a vision of the judgement. In the vision I was left behind. I did not want to be left behind when the Lord returns so I decided to surrender my life to my maker.
What has been your most challenging moment? My most challenging time since being saved was when I was suspended from the New Testament Church of God, Jamaica, for my involvement in politics. This was against church rules. I left the New Testament church and went to Full Truth Church of God Deliverance Center.
What has been your most miraculous moment? My most miraculous moment was when I was diagnosed with cancer and given months to live. I went in fasting and prayer, along with the church. After months of praying and participating in the Holy Lord supper, eating the crackers and drinking grape juice with olive oil, God turned those months to years.
I am not fully healed but it's my belief that God is still in the kitchen cooking me, so to speak. When He is finished I will be as pure as gold.
Message to Christians: As Christians, it is incumbent on us to live a life that the people of the world will see and know that, indeed, we are Christians. The Bible says we should so live, so that our lives can point others to Jesus Christ.
In a time like now when we have so much going on in the world, and especially in our country, I really think that as Christians we need to come together and demonstrate to the world that we are, indeed, the people of God.
Message to non-Christians: Seek the Saviour while He can be found. What will it profit you to gain the whole world and lose your only soul? Just remember that man is dust and God is wind, so we can be blown away at any time.
