Ninja Kid gets a buzz with latest single
Dancehall artiste Ninja Kid is connecting with fans with his newest track Long Dingy Ding Ding.
"The song is doing really well. I sing about what I love and what I see around me. I hope to do a remix of it with Aidonia and Vybz Kartel," he said. The single was produced by Triple L Records.
Born in Allman Town, Kingston, and raised in Nannyville Gardens, the entertainer has been recording professionally since 1989.
"I loved it (music) from I was a baby. I grew up in a yard where a lot of singers and DJs came and 'hold a vibes' with my father, like Dennis Brown, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, Lone Ranger, my uncle, and General Echo. So, that's why I choose this lane," he said.
Some of Ninja Kid's other releases include Dem (featuring Markus Myrie), Gal Like We, and Before God Come. He is also gearing up to release another song titled DM.
With almost 40 years of experience, Ninja Kid is imploring acts to remember their values as they climb the industry's ladder.
"Keep on doing music and help some of the new talent that are entering the music industry. Have a clean heart and be respectful to the elders in the business and you will make it. That is what I did," he said.
