Dancehall artiste Bad OG is amped up about his latest single, titled Lit Tonight.

The song, which was produced by his father, reggae singer and producer, Gassy Ink, was released a month ago on the Gassy Ink Records label. Since then, it has enjoyed heavy rotation both locally and overseas.

"I am extremely pleased about the response that my new single is receiving. It's generating a nice buzz right now. I am grateful to all the DJs who are playing it in Jamaica and other parts of the world," said the artiste.

The Kingston-born deejay is confident that Lit Tonight will be his breakthrough single "based on the feedback that I am getting from industry insiders and my fans online".

"My team and I are putting a lot of promotion behind this song to make sure it's a hit. We're not easing up, this year is my year," he said. Bad OG is also working on some new projects for Gassy Ink Records.

"As a new artiste, I am focused on building a strong catalogue of music. Right now, I am working on some singles, but I also plan to record an EP. However, I am going to drop some more singles before I drop the EP."

Bad OG, given name Stevaughn Antonio Barrett, originally hails from Arnett Gardens. He launched his recording career in 2019 with the release of a single titled Live The Life on the Gold Rvss Label. Other releases include Skeptic, and Believe.
