Burning Spear to headline Reggae Jam in Trelawny
Living legend and two-time Grammy winner Winston 'Burning Spear' Rodney is slated to perform live at the Jamaican leg of Europe's most authentic reggae music festival, Reggae Jam Festival International, in Trelawny in June.
Burning Spear, who has recently come out of retirement, has not performed on Jamaican soil for over a decade and is reportedly looking forward to this concert, which will take place on June 14 and 15 at Reggae Park 420, located in Friendship, Trelawny.
The two-day event will also see performances from a star-studded line-up of reggae heavyweights, including Busy Signal, Beenie Man, Queen Ifrica, Tanya Stephens and Sanchez, among others.
The Reggae Jam Festival is held annually in Lower Saxony, Bersenbruck, Germany. It first took place in 1994.
