Kingston man charged with allegedly punching woman in face

A 42-year-old man is in police custody for allegedly punching a woman in her face during an altercation in Potters Row, Kingston 16 on Sunday.
Damion Brown, a production designer has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.
Reports from the Elletson Road police are that at 10:30p.m., Brown and the victim were involved in an alleged altercation during which Brown reportedly punched her in her mouth, causing bruises and swelling.
The matter was reported to the police.
Brown was sought by the lawmen and subsequently arrested and charged based on the complainant's statement.
A court date for him is being finalised.
