Khago says no to female leaders - Artiste claims women in power dance to tune of powerful masters

Dancehall artiste Khago believes women are unfit for leadership, arguing that female leaders are easily manipulated by special interests and should stay out of positions of power.
Speaking with THE WEEKEND STAR at his Mandeville, Manchester home, Khago declared that women's involvement in leadership has been the root of many of the world's problems. The Nah Sell Out hitmaker claimed that women are often used as pawns by powerful interests to advance agendas that undermine families and society.
"Dem get some woman and put dem inna Parliament and give dem some money, and tell dem to push a particular agenda," Khago claimed.
There are 18 female members of parliament in the House of Representatives, representing 29 per cent of the 63 seats in the House. Between 1944 and 2020, a total of 47 women have been elected as members of the House of Representatives.
Khago insists that women should confine their roles to the household, using the Bible to justify his stance.
"Woman nuh fi lead nutten, and the Bible tell yuh. Woman fi lead the pot and the spoon in the kitchen," Khago said.
He further argued that female independence is a myth, insisting that men are naturally the providers and leaders.
The outspoken artiste also linked what he sees as the erosion of male leadership to the rise of LGBTQ+ youth, blaming women-led households for driving men away and leaving children without strong male figures.
He said that many young men being raised today are what he calls "hybrid men" -- neither fully masculine nor capable of traditional male leadership -- and he warned that women's increasing control over households is fuelling this shift.
"The man dem weh unno a wife up and raise, a hybrid mi call dem. Dat a di type a man unno a raise, and a dem a compete with unno, but dem physically stronger so unno woman can't do nothing about it. Is di mother dem why di little boy dem a turn gay or transgender, because unno use the power of Babylon and run the man dem out the house. Same way Satan use Eve, a di same ting a happen now," he claimed.
