Testimony: Jesus took the wheel for Kay-Ann
Kay-Ann McLean-Jemison testifies that God has spared her life on three occasions while she was driving.
A member of the Power of Faith Deliverance Ministries in May Pen, Clarendon, McLean-Jemison has been saved since 2007.
She said God has delivered her out of many circumstances and situations.
"I was travelling to Kingston, and ... a vehicle that was driving in the opposite direction came crashing into the right rear wheel of my car. If I was driving at a fast speed outside of the normal speed, only God knows what would have been the end result. The impact could have been devastating," testified McLean-Jemison.
She said that she thought that her life would have ended. She said she was travelling with her two children in the car, and she prayed that the Lord would spare them.
"I saw my vehicle just keep on drifting into the school wall. I just asked the Lord to keep me calm while I slowly got the vehicle under control. I then stopped and checked if my children were okay," she said. "My baby was sleeping at the time, while the bigger one, who was also asleep, woke up and asked me what the problem was. I then checked the vehicle to see what the damage was like. The vehicle which hit me did not stop."
She recalled another occasion while driving on the highway towards May Pen, when one of her tyres flew off its rim. Luckily, nothing was coming in the opposite direction.
On another occasion, while driving on the May Pen Bridge about a month ago, her car started swerving to both sides.
"The vehicle swung towards the rails, and I had to say, 'no, Father God, this cannot be it for me and my children. it's not it this. I know You are going to help me through'," she said.
McLean-Jemison noted that throughout the ordeal, she remained calm, but it took a while before she was able to get the vehicle under control.
When she finally did, she had to say, "thank you, Jesus."
"All those situations are not merely narrow escapes, they are miracles from God. God was with me on all occasions. He will always be with us until the very end. Just don't give up. don't give in. He will see us through," said McLean-Jemison.
