Airline employees of colour, all members of the minority group Skye Kingdom, took time out from their cruise ship stop in Jamaica, to provide philanthropic work for students and teachers at the Montego Bay Infant School.

The flight and ground attendants, from airlines including, American, Southwest, LIAT and Delta, brought several gifts for the school which is the largest of its kind on the island.

The Phillip & Christine Gore Family Foundation's website was officially launched on October 9, at the Shady Grove Basic School at 217 Old Hope Road.

The event saw all the children, parents and guests in attendance at the brief ceremony where Myrtle Wellington, principal, warmly welcomed everyone.
