Dancehall recording artiste Uptikal is letting it all out on his latest track, speaking his truth in a heartfelt project titled ' Vent'.

The track is co-produced by Rich Energy Music and Deano Deann Records and is featured on the 'Pain to Paper' rhythm.

"The song is about my life situation and how cruel mankind can be," the artiste explained about its meaning.

Openly exploring the harsh realities of life in the streets, the artiste said that he wants to reach the ears of specific people who would be most affected by situations such as these, and appeals to them to make positive changes in the right direction.

"My goal for this track is for it to make an impact on those who need to hear it. The feedback has been good so far and I hope this track can reach even further and make a difference in the lives of others," the artiste said.

Hailing from Leith Hall Forth, St Thomas, Uptikal has been doing music since his days in primary school. Starting his writing journey when he was in high school, he has now spent 15 years in the music industry.

"My style of music is singjaying. I try to bring variety with my sound. Sometimes it's hardcore music and sometimes it is soft. If you listen to my songs, you will hear a lot of melodies and harmony," he said.

With releases including Too Cold, Lead Me, Broken Memories and Coulda Be, the artiste is gearing up for more projects in 2025, including an EP, which is currently in the works, and a new music video.
