OUTSPED by a rallying ALKEBULAN on the round course last Sunday, NOBLE SOVEREIGN has the perfect draw, widest along the stands side, to make amends in Saturday's Reggae 6 opener at five furlongs straight.

Though chasing and pointing on ALKEBULAN a furlong out, NOBLE SOVEREIGN was left flat when the leader found a fifth gear under Raddesh Roma after catching a breather in the stretch run.

Possibly unimpressed by claiming-rider Richie Shakes' show inside the final half-furlong, trainer Donovan Clarke has summoned top-finisher, Robert Halledeen, the only local rider to have won both the Mouttet Mile and its predecessor Diamond Mile.

With a $7.6 million single-winner bonus dangling, take no chances with the second event at a mile. MISS GROVE and BOWMORE, trained by Anthony Nunes and Phillip Lee, respectively, are both owned by Nadon.

Nunes has two other runners in the event, off-colour PLAYFAIR and stayer KING PIYE, who will get the trip but has spotty form. MISS GROVE will be closing from off the pace whereas BOWMORE, who had her ticket when getting off the mark on May 4, has been hit with a 13lb weight swing at a mile.

Oral Hayden's UNRULY MO, who finished heads-on with Brunner-up BOWMORE when third behind RIDEALLDAY at five and a half furlongs on June 7, could spoil Nadon's party if he gets an unmolested lead, having stayed seven and a half furlongs against GIRVANO but lost the race in the stewards' room.

CUTOUT showed good speed, carrying ROARING KITTY and DUTCHESS to well inside the final half-furlong at six and a half furlongs on last, making her a banker against weaker maidens at a mile in the third.

Bank TIGRAY EXPRESS in the fourth before spreading bets in the fifth to include SPRAGGA, FORT HALDANE, BUTTERCUP, SUCCESSFUL MAN and NEVER.

Close the Reggae 6 with HEROINE, MUSKETOON and GREAT TRICK, who is down in class among $350,000 claimers after being taken for $500,000 on June 8.
