Stevie Face readies new album
Stevie Face plans to take his career to new heights with his upcoming fourth studio album.
"Over the past two decades, the name Stevie Face has become synonymous with good reggae music, because, from the beginning of my career, I have consistently recorded and released top-quality reggae music," he said. "Therefore, whenever I announce that I am working on a new project, my fans know they can always expect the best from me. I have never betrayed their trust, and this time I plan to surpass all expectations."
Stevie Face expressed optimism that the new project will be better than all his previous full-length efforts.
"I plan to deliver a genre-defining album that will take my career to a higher level in reggae music. I am confident this is going to be the biggest album of my career," he said.
The singer has recruited two of Jamaica's top producers, Mikey Bennett and Rohan 'Snowcone' Fuller, as well as a cadre of top musicians, to work with him on the project.
"When this album is released, it will be counted among the greatest reggae albums of all times," said Stevie Face. "It's almost 70 per cent completed. We're not rushing the production process, because we want to deliver something special for the fans."
Stevie Face is currently riding a wave of success with the latest single of the album, a soulful lovers' rock rendition of Lobo's 1970s hit titled I'd Love You To Want Me (Want You). The video for his rendition was released on June 6. Since then, it has racked up more than a million views on YouTube.
"The response to this video has been tremendous, the analytics show that it's been viewed by people in various territories. I'm very happy for all the support it's getting from my fans all over the world," said Stevie Face.
