Recording artiste Skepper believes that he has a hit in the making with the recent release of the Afrobeat single Jungle, featuring Hussain Dada.

Produced by EssentialMusik, the song is about love, reflecting the emotions of being deeply in love - the thrill, the risks, the mystery, and the depth - as described by the artiste. The track was officially released on May 13.

"This song was inspired by the wild, unpredictable, and passionate journey of love. Just like a jungle, love can be confusing, intense, beautiful, and even dangerous. I wanted to capture that feeling of getting lost in someone, the way you can lose yourself in love the same way you could in a jungle, both scary and magical," Skepper said.

The smooth lyrics flow over an easygoing beat, showcasing Gambian elements, with Hussain Dada performing his verse in the Mandinka language. Since its release, the track has been getting rave reviews, attracting positive reactions on the official music video and airplay globally.

"My goal is for this song to be big enough to make it to the international music market. The response has been overwhelming so far, just positive vibes all around, and I'm looking forward to seeing how far this song will go," said Skepper.

Walking the music path since 2016, starting as a freestyle artiste, Skepper released his first studio single while still attending school. Things changed in 2024 just before graduation when his single Distance was released by EssentialMusik.
