Dancehall artiste Asure is currently riding a wave of success with his latest single, Prayers A Work.

Produced by Symphony B Records and released on April 24, he said the response is more than anything that he could have imagined.

"Over the years, I've recorded a lot of good songs, but it's the first time I've ever released a song that has received such tremendous response," said the artiste. The Mandeville-based singer opined that Prayers A Work will be his breakthrough single.

"Based on the response that this song is getting, I am confident that it's going to give me my big break in the music business. Right now it's getting a lot of airplay both locally and abroad. People are calling and messaging me from all over the world every time they hear it on the radio," he said. He also revealed that he plans to shoot a video for the single.

"My manager is currently putting things in place and making all the necessary arrangements for the video shoot. It's going to be epic," he said. Also on the cards for Asure is a seven-track EP which is slated for release later this year.

Asure, whose given name is Garfield Reid, hails from Green Vale, Manchester. He launched his recording career in 2013 with the release of a single titled Mama, which was recorded under the stage name Solution Reid for PayDay Music.
