Reggae singer Batchelor is in an upbeat mood as he promotes his new single titled 'Don't Come Running Back To Me'.

The song, which he produced and released on his Total Satisfaction imprint, is currently enjoying strong rotation globally.

"This song is receiving a lot of support from DJs in Jamaica and other parts of the world, including Africa, the US, Europe and the UK. I am grateful to everyone who's playing it," said the artiste. The easy-going singer said his personal experiences inspired the song.

"Many men have suffered because of unfaithful women. Throughout the ages, good men have fallen victim to dishonest women. Most of the time, when a relationship fails, it's the man who gets the blame, but often times, it's the woman's fault. It takes a strong man to recover from a failed relationship; divorce is not an easy thing to deal with. I've been there," he said.

"To add insult to injury, a lot of times these women who lie and cheat on good men, turn around and ask for forgiveness. But the moment you give them a second chance, they do the same thing all over again. That's why I've recorded this song," he added.

Batchelor is currently working on several projects, including a video for Don't Come Running Back To Me and his debut album.
