Back on the scene with a steamy single, ' 2 Gyal (Bwoii Affi II)', 1Biggs Don said he's hoping to "replant his feet" in the industry while using his talent to soar globally.

Known for his freestlye, catchy and rhythmic flow, 1Biggs Don said despite the rave for his new single, it was another moment which proved to him his authentic talent and that dancehall is definitely the place for him.

"Di producer [TJTorry] build the rhythm and send come gimmie, enuh, and mi just find mi way to Kingston same time. But mi neva write di song or nutten - just vibes. Just a smoke weed and a drink good liquor and di vibes was right; mi nuh write or plan nutten, a just freestyle - a just di talent, enuh. Mi know mi have it, enuh, mi jus affi guh to work - drop some good quality songs and promote and mek di work speak fi itself," 1Biggs Don told THE STAR.

The high-energy track has already garnered approximately 200,000 views and almost 8,000 likes since its release on YouTube on Tuesday.

"Mi want di attention suh di work can come out more because mi been a drop good songs but true di attention neva deh deh, dem neva really a guh far. Mi waah mi music fi a buss up di place and a tour dung di place," he said. 1Biggs Don admitted that due to his "easy" rise to fame and "everything mi drop just a work", he never did much promotion, assuming he would get the same traction as with Bwoii Affi (Watch E Style), his breakout hit in 2022.

"But it nuh work like dat," he said. At just 18, he grabbed the world's attention with the Bwoii Affi (Watch E Style) freestyle track, garnering the attention of fans globally, including celebrities such as Drake, Popcaan and Aidonia. He also shared stage with Shenseea. However, he confessed that he blundered due to his lack of knowledge of the music business and the fast-paced rush to fame. But with a new, more mature mindset and a better understanding of the art, he's seeking his fans' forgiveness.

"A whole heap has happened since - pain, tears, suffering; more pain than enjoyment but mi know a life. Mi did just hit a bad patch and the journey did rough. When mi buss mi see mi change a whole heap a people life and right now, mi can't even call dem," he shared. He admitted that he even saw himself as a failure, thinking that his music was not doing as well as when he started out.

"Mi just hope dem [my supporters] can forgive me because I didn't understand what I did, but now while I'm growing, mi just affi be the bigger person and brand miself the best way," said 1Biggs Don in relation to the backlash he faced following his online rants, lewd clapbacks and 'flossing' lifestyle shortly after his musical breakthrough.

Driven by self-motivation and a dedication to redeem himself while providing for his family, he was pushed to rebuild the career he knew he was destined for.

"Mi want all addi best stuff dem too, eat the best and have di best help. So the motivation for a better life also keep me going," the artiste shared.

In pedalling his way to the top, with a solid start and a song that's now dubbed 'the song of the summer,' 1Biggs Don hopes to achieve "peace and happiness" while securing a sound structure in music.

"Money nuh love noise and God nuh love bad energy, suh a beautiful relationship with the Lord and mi career nice and going good wid a nice family a weh mi really a focus pon now," he said. He underscored that he's hoping for 2 Gyal (Bwoii Affi II) to "put me back on my feet inna mi career and put me right back in the spot I was in and open some international doors fi me".
