Up-and-coming reggae artiste Nerro is hitting the road once again, this time he is on a mission to connect with fans on a deeper, more personal level.

His 'Dweet Fi Yuh Self' tour, named after one of his most impactful songs, kicks off on June 1 and will run until October 3. He says the tour includes stops in the United States, Europe and the Caribbean.

The son of reggae legend Barrington Levy, Nerro has worked to carve his own path in the industry, embracing his unique sound and message. Though he acknowledges the foundation laid by his father and his team at Malitian Empire, Nerro said this tour marks a turning point.

"It's a one-man show as opposed to last year when it was me and other guest artistes, and we only made a few stops. So this is like a personal, intimate show to show my growth and personal musical accomplishments," he said.

Nerro said he has been rehearsing and ready to make a memorable mark at each stop.

"For me, it's just all about delivering my best and give the fans a great satisfaction. Mi just waah mek sure seh dem satisfy and feel pleased," he said.

His father's advice still echoes in his mind: "Always sing for the people and with the people. Always pronounce yuh words properly suh di wider diaspora can understand, and walk wid God. Just duh yuh ting and if yuh get nervous, just close yuh eyes and sing."
