With a packed venue of screaming ladies crooning to every word of his seductive lyrical tracks while being captivated by his contagious and charismatic vibe, Dexta Daps said his Mocha Fest experience was definitely exhilarating.

"The atmosphere was electrifying, and the energy from the fans exceeded my expectations," the Lockdown artiste told THE STAR. He underscored that "returning home to headline the event was a wonderful feeling and the Mocha Fest stage marked a significant moment for me".

"I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the energy in the space. Judging by the audience's reaction, it seems I delivered as promised," he said. Dexta Daps, who promised to showcase the best of himself to his local supporters, came out gunning on Sunday. Adorned in his full-white outfit, he incorporated his usual spice and memorable elements to his stage presence with a seductive display of ladies enjoying a dance with him on set. While his fans belted out the lyrics to his hit single Breaking ÐÓ°ÉÐÔ°É, the artiste, who was hyped up by the crowd's response, stopped the performance and asked:

"Unu a have fun? Mi tell unu, enuh, mek wi just cease di party fi a second please cause mi waah work. A long time mi nuh work a Jamaica and mi appreciate the energy," a grateful Dexta Daps shared before commending Mocha Fest organisers for conceptualising what he described as a great event.

Midway the show, while the buzzing crowd sang along to some of his most sexually graphic tracks such as Owner and No Underwear, applause and screams erupted when Dexta Daps introduced international R&B artiste, Trey Songz.

"One of my titles, 'The Jamaican Treysongz,' made that moment truly special for both me and the fans--an iconic moment for the culture," an excited Dexta Daps revealed. He said that the moment was one of two of his most memorable ones at the show - the other was sharing the stage with dancehall artiste Blakkman and witnessing his incredible performance. Dexta Daps opined that sharing the stage with young, up-and-coming talent benefits them greatly.

"Once they have the stage, it's up to them to prove themselves. Having been in their position, I understand the impact of simply having the chance to share your art and heart with the world," he said. However, he said he thinks more can be done to support young talent but "they must also position themselves to seize opportunities when they arise and be proactive in creating opportunities for themselves".

Before he introduced Trey Songz, Dexta Daps paused again to express gratitude towards his fellow singer, who was also booked to headline the event but made a deliberate effort to attend Dexta Daps' performance.

"Trey Songz seh him affi mek it here fi come see Dexta Daps perform and unu nuh know wah dat mean to mi and dis is from mi heart," Dexta Daps said. "Memba Jamaicans love Trey Songz and we always support Trey Songz music. A one a wi favourite songwriter and singer, di youth genuine and everything weh him sing bout yuh can relate to because him a sing bout life...And him mek yuh know seh him appreciate yuh and because a dat Jamaicans appreciate Trey Songz."

"Fi know seh a youth like dat really tek di time out fi seh him really waah see Dexta Daps work, mi affi seh from mi heart, pon stage, love youth - mi respect dat and mi really appreciate it...
