Vanessa Bling found herself overcome with emotion as tears streamed down her face during a recent live show in England. The Independent Lady singer who was making her return to the country after more than a decade, having recently regained her UK work permit, was profoundly moved by the warm reception from her fans.

"They were so loud and they sang every single word of my songs," Vanessa Bling told THE STAR as she explained the emotions. "I was happy and lost for words, and I wanted to hug and kiss everyone out there, and that's how it happened."

The entertainer, whose given name is Vanessa Saddler, broke onto the entertainment scene in the early 2000s and rode a wave of success that came with being a member of the Vybz Kartel-led Gaza Empire.

She said that having been away from the UK for a decade, she was determined not to allow the freezing temperatures to cramp her style.

"It was so cold my bones rattled," she said adding that "I prepared myself mentally because of the Vybz Kartel-led Gaza Empire".

The entertainer recently concluded a three-week Caribbean and International tour, which took her Trinidad and Tobago, to St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, before concluding in England, where she performed in London and Birmingham.

Vanessa Bling's manager Ravel Purge, also highlighted the overwhelming support she received, even as he underscored the and the significance of the tour.

"Seeing long lines outside the venues left her speechless. She was so overwhelmed by the feeling that it brought her to tears on the stage [because] it was really cold in London and they packed the houses, despite adverse weather conditions," he said.

"It just leaves all of us speechless to see so much love coming from her fans ... The tour was great. Seeing her reconnect with a lot of her fans and also media personnel, knowing that England had been waiting to see her over a decade, it was a great feeling," Purge added.

Vanessa Bling recently performed at Mavado's birthday party in Brooklyn, New York. She anticipates releasing a new album in 2024 and is gearing up for a European tour early in the new year.
