Following the Jamaica leg of his 'Trilogy' tour, internationally acclaimed artiste Dexta Daps said that he is at a loss for words due to the massive love and support he received from his fans in his homeland.

The tour, which took place from December 1 to 3, visited the Corporate Area, Ocho Rios and Negril last weekend.

"Simply put, it was everything we'd hoped for and more, I'm still on a high," Dexta Daps told THE WEEKEND STAR.

"The support and love I received from the fans meant the most to me. The reception was unbelievable. I'm still processing it all. Just genuine love," the Get High singer added.

Jhevonte Webster of College Connect, one of the organisers, said that as anticipated, all venues were sold out.

"I am genuinely pleased with the love and support shown to Dexta by the local population. It goes to show how much he is loved and valued as our very own international star coming back to bring his music and talent here. All the venues were packed and the crowds were beautiful," said Webster.

The Morning Love artiste generated a buzz in the UK, US and Canada on the international leg of the tour. He said that doing three shows in three different cities on consecutive nights was definitely "uncharted territories for all involved".

"While there were bumps and bruises along the way, I'm grateful for the outcome. I'm blessed!" he stated.

Webster said that the main issue was finding a way to do three events back to back.

"It took a lot of compartmentalisation, strength and flexibility, as it's my first time experiencing a back-to-back tour in three different cities. No sleep, just up and down and getting things together. Kudos to all the teams who took part," said Webster.

Despite the minor setbacks, there is expressed willingness on all sides to tackle another staging of another tour of this magnitude.

"I would in a heartbeat. There were so many key learnings that would make for a much smoother experience the next time," Dexta Daps said. The artiste also expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for the successful staging.

"I would like to extend a special heartfelt 'Thank you' to all of my fans, media, vendors, my team and everyone involved. Big thanks to the supporters of reggae and dancehall music. You all made a dream come true! Love and love alone," said Dexta Daps.

The artiste is set to release his fourth studio album on his birthday on January 12, titled Trilogy.
