The international leg of Dexta Daps' 'Trilogy' tour is currently buzzing in parts of Canada, and the dancehall powerhouse wants to assure all his local fans that the same energy will be projected in the Jamaican leg of his tour.

The local leg of the tour, which is slated for December 1-3, will see the Morning Love artiste performing in Kingston, Ocho Rios, and Negril, respectively.

"Fans can expect a high-energy performance backed by a live band. I'm known for leaving it all on the stage and Jamaica will be no different! The mic will be on from start to finish," an invigorated Dexta Daps told THE STAR.

He added that the tour has been really energising and fulfilling as he releases his fourth studio album, Trilogy.

"The experience so far has been invigorating. The audience continues to energise and inspire me at each stop. It's a feeling I can't really explain," he stated.

"My goal when embarking on this journey of producing my own tour, was to simply connect with my audience in a more organic way. Throughout the planning process, I would always say to my team, 'I don't care if only 10 people show up, we're still giving them the same show as if it were 10,000'," he added.

While fans await the live stage performance of the Forever singer, Dexta Daps said they should continue holding their breaths for the surprises and versatility that the new album will offer.

"Fans should anticipate this album because it offers three bodies of work fused together. There is something for everyone, and the audience will have the opportunity to zone in on their preferences," said Dexta Daps, while adding that there is a special treat for his supporters. There will be "collaborations with a few favourites they've been requesting for quite some time". The album is set to be released on Dexta Daps' birthday on January 12, 2024.

With some of his greatest hits stemming from collaborations with musical bigwigs, including the King and Queen of Dancehall, Beenie Man and Spice, and Afrobeat hitmaker Davido, Dexta Daps promises "a few surprises" with entertainers who'll be joining him on stage for the Jamaica leg of his tour.

The Trilogy tour has already enjoyed overwhelming success with sold-out shows in the United Kingdom and the United States. The tour will stop in Toronto, Canada, in November, before making its way to Jamaica.

Dexta Daps, who is known for his unique voice, provocative content and seductive performances, has been on the music scene for more than a decade. Some of his chart-topping songs include hits such as Call Mi If, 7/11, Bring It To The Owner and Twinkle.

The Shabba Madda Pot artiste was the recipient of the Performer of the Year award in the dancehall category at the inaugural Caribbean Music Awards held recently.
